Hummus is a healthy snack option that is packed full of protein. Why not kick it up a notch with some roasted beets for a boost of nutrition and more vibrant color? Pair it with some raw veggies for an excellent on-the-go snack option!

Beet Hummus

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinshed and drained
  • 1 Tbsp. tahini paste
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup beets, roasted and peeled


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add water if needed to reach a smooth, creamy texture.

*Serve with fresh veggies or gluten free crackers
